A confession - and a caution for the impatient
If you are used to downloading stuff on the web, then you probably expect to get download instructions instantly after going through checkout. I have to confess that my web site is not that high-tech (yet). Although I am a bit of a geek, I have not taken the time to learn the code or scripting or whatever it is that will give you an instant, automated reply. I prefer to spend my time recording audio books, rather than learning how to code computer scripts.
So, when you go through checkout, there will actually be a human touch involved!
I will respond to your Paypal payment in person, as soon as I can. I carry a smartphone around with me, and will get your Paypal email almost straight away, wherever I am.
Therefore, most of the time you will get a response from me, and a password to download your audio book, within a few minutes or a couple of hours. However, sometimes I have to sleep and believe it or not, I actually turn off my computer (and my smartphone) before going to sleep.
In short, I could respond within 5 minutes, or I might take up to eight hours to get back to you. If you want to make sure how long it will be before I can respond, you can try contacting me first, to check.
Some people appreciate the personal touch of my service, but if you are impatient, and want your audio book instantly, you might be disappointed in my old-fashioned way of responding to you.
The service is not necessarily optimum for an impatient person, but it's still one hell of a lot quicker than waiting for CDs to come through the mail.

Please be aware that all of these audio books are contained within large zip files. A file of around 100 Mb (as many of them are) could take up to an hour, maybe more, to download. The time it takes depends on the speed of your internet connection. These files are hosted on my server in Denver, Colorado.
